The song ‘After Dark’ reflects the journey we all make within ourselves: the conflict between who we want to be, who we feel we need to be, and who we really are. The writing process for this song was not only about this emotional/existential conflict but also about capturing the surreal space in which these inner struggles take place.

The organ sounds create a stretched-out and empty landscape, amplifying the sense of space. The long, lingering tones of the synthesizer mirror the vastness of time and the feeling of being suspended in a moment — one single moment that seemingly lasts an eternity.
