ILL Fittings is a Dutch alternative rock band that was formed in 2017 by brother and sister Yen and Tara. Since the band's establishment they have released various singles, covering a wide range of lyrical topics and musical styles. 

The music and lyrics authentically reflect the band members worldview and introspections, conveying these to anyone who is willing to listen. Each song opens a door to their universe inviting the listener into the vibrant and unique soundscapes.

While inspiration for their music comes from life itself, some of the artists who influence them include Donovan, The Velvet Underground, Gorillaz, Arcade Fire and Radiohead.

What inspires ILL Fittings

Yen and Tara started making music from a young age and over the years the music matured with them. In 2020 they started their own recording studio in The Hague, where they write and record their own music. The lyrics are mainly written by Yen, who is the lead vocalist and plays the guitar and electric bass. Tara accompanies on piano and synth, crafting harmonies and textures. She also curates the band's visual identity through photography and graphic arts, bringing their alternative style to life.
